GPATAbout GPAT 2015 is a national level examination conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to offer admission in post graduate pharmacy courses and awarding a few other fellowship/scholarships to pharmacy graduate. The courses should be approved by the AICTE. The GPAT 2015 score/rank card will be valid for one year from the date of result declaration for admission to any institutes across India. The same is valid for one year for the purpose of obtaining scholarships. The GPAT 2015 score/rank card will be valid for 3 years if a candidate is interested to register for Ph. D  degree.

GPAT 2015 Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must be a citizen of India. Applicants must have paased high school and intermediate examination from a recognised board. Applicants must have completed graduation in Pharmacy.  Applicants pursuing last year of undergraduate pharmacy course are also eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

 

GPAT 2015 Application Form: Applicants are required to register online only by visiting the official website of GPAT. Last year the application form was available only in online mode. After registration, applicants were require to pay application fee of Rs 1200 /- and Rs 600/- + bank charges belonging from for general/OBC and SC/ST/PD category respectively. There were two modes of payment of application fee. First, payment through e-gateway i.e. Net Banking or Credit/Debit card. Second, payment through SBI challan. On the basis of information provided in the last year brochure- registration for GPAT 2015 Application Form is expected to start on  November 6, 2014. Last date for online registration shall be January 7, 2015.

 

GPAT 2015 Admit Card: is expected to be available for download from Aptil 29, 2015. Offline GPAT 2015 Admit Card will not be dispactched by the exam condcuting authority to any candidates. 

 

GPAT 2015 Exam Pattern: From year 2010 to 2012 the exam was conducted in paper pencil format. However, for the last two years the exam is conducted in online mode. It is expected that for the year 2015, the GPAT 2015 exam  will be a computer based test. The duration of GPAT 2015 Exam will be 3 hours and the total number of questions will be 125 multiple choice questions. For each correct response the student will be awarded 4 marks and for each wrong response 1 mark will be deducted.

 

GPAT 2015 Result- is expected to be declared on March 15, 2015. An all India merit list will be declared by the exam conducting authority. GPAT 2015 rank/score card will be displayed in online mode at the official website. The same will not be send to any candidates by post or courier.
